Q. What is Jaws PDF Creator?
A. Jaws PDF Creator is an affordable and reliable means of creating PDF files from virtually any document, in any application.
Q. How do I create a PDF file using Jaws PDF Creator?
A. Open the file that you want to convert to a PDF file. This could be a Word document, a Web page, an e-mail, an Excel spreadsheet, etc. Then simply click File > Print and select our special “Jaws PDF Creator” printer. In addition to this, within Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Jaws PDF Creator also installs as a toolbar icon. By clicking which you can create a PDF file retaining document structures such as bookmarks and hyperlinks from the original document.
Q. Will Jaws PDF Creator work on my computer?
A. Jaws PDF Creator works on the following platforms:
32 bit platforms:
Windows XP, Windows Vista and 2003 Server.
Microsoft Office XP, 2003, 2007.
Windows 2003 Server running Terminal Services.
Windows 2003 Server running Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 and 4.5.
Mac OS X (up to 10.4 PowerPC only).
64 bit platforms:
Runs onWindows x64 andWindows 2003 Server x64.
Vista 64 bit platforms not supported.
Q. Can I evaluate the software before I buy?
A. Certainly! We highly recommend that you evaluate the software in your environment before buying. Please visit our Downloads page to install the evaluation version of Jaws PDF software.
Q. How can I produce PDF files without the ‘evaluation’ watermark?
The evaluation text is present in the demo version. To remove this from subsequent PDF files, you will need to purchase the software and enter the serial number in the Jaws PDF Creator Control Panel.

Q. How do I install my Serial Number after I have evaluated the software?
A. In a Windows environment:
You need to go to the computer Control Panel.
On Windows XP, you will need to click on the “Other Control Panel Options” on the left hand side.
This will let you see the Jaws PDF Creator icon.
Now for _all_ versions of Windows double click on the Jaws PDF Creator icon. This will open up the Jaws PDF Creator Control Panel.
Click on the [About...] button
This will open up the About Jaws PDF Creator dialog box
Click on the [Enter Serial Number] button
This will open up the Customer Information dialog box
Copy and paste your Serial Number in the correct location*
Click on the [OK] button all the way out.
Close the computer Control Panel.
You are all set now to use the software.
B. In a Mac environment:
Open up the Hard drive > Applications > Jaws PDF Creator > Configuration Editor.
Then click on the Configuration Editor menu
Choose About Configuration Editor.
Click on the [Enter Serial Number] button
This will open up the Customer Information dialog box
Copy and paste your Serial Number in the correct location*
Click on the [Done] button and close all the way out.
You are all set now to use the software.
*NOTE: If you get a notice that the number is invalid, please contact support right away at info@officialpdf.com. Please include the version of Jaws PDF Creator you have and the serial number.
